As it’s half term (well it is for the schools round where I live anyway) I thought I’d watch some films with my brother and sister and made my room into a comfy mini cinema all laying across my bed with popcorn, sweets and drink with the lights off. It was very nice and my brother and sister seemed to enjoy it too. I plan to do a blog post in a few days to show you how I do the mini cinema.
The film that my brother and sister choose was last night was ‘Paddington’ movie. I rented it off of TalkTalk Box Office for £4 which I can watch as much as I want to for 48hrs.. Which when you put it like that it sounds a great price.
I thought the film was brilliant. It has got to be one the best films I have seen in a while. I would have to say that I thought the film was a mix of ‘101 Dalmatians’ because there was a nasty woman chasing after Paddington to kill him and stuff him whereas in 101 Dalmatians you Cruella De Vil she is after all the dogs to kill them and use their fur for coats. And the other film I thought it was like was ‘Stuart Little’ because in Stuart Little the family take Stuart in and they want him to go because he causes mischief by accident then he goes and gets in to danger and the family save him and in Paddington the same similar thing happens. But then again its different as well.
I totally recommend you watching it if you haven’t already done so. I wasn’t sure myself to start with but it was so hilariously funny and I’m 24yrs old. Both my brother and sister loved it aswell. I give it full 5/5 ∗∗∗∗∗
Here is what my sister aged 10 thought :-
“This is what I think of Paddington. If I had to rate it out of five I would give it 5/5 because there are some really funny bits in it and also some funny characters. I would love to watch it all day and all night because I loved it so much. It is probably the best movie/film I have ever seen in my life. I wish I had a bear like Paddington because he is very smart and the best character in the film/movie. I want a Paddington in my life so I could talk to him about anything.” ∗∗∗∗∗
I plan to do more during the course of the next 2 weeks and then one a week possibly. And I plan to do a post on how I do my mini cinema.
Have you seen the film yet? What did you think of it? Did you like it/not like it?
I would like to hear what you thought if you have seen it. I hope you’ve enjoyed my first film review.
